“During the circuit breaker period, everything was so uncertain. I felt I needed to do something… to create something with my hands that could bring a bit of hope to people.” – Kelvin, Founder of MayWell Lifestyles
In a time when the world stood still, our founder and “Wood-Doctor,” Kelvin, turned to his craft. He took a block of enduring teak wood—a material known for its strength and longevity—and began to carve. He wasn’t just shaping wood; he was crafting a symbol. A symbol of wealth, positivity, and the unwavering hope that good fortune is always waiting to enter our lives.
The story of our frog is rooted in centuries-old folklore. Legend tells of a mischievous four-legged toad that was subdued by the immortal Liu Hai, the “Wealth Boy.” In their encounter, the toad lost a leg but gained wisdom, regretting its past and becoming a loyal companion, dedicated to attracting wealth and good fortune for humankind.
This is why the frog is depicted with three legs—a powerful reminder that transformation and prosperity often follow a moment of challenge. It has since become one of the most potent symbols for welcoming wealth into one’s home.
In our showroom, visitors often say they are intuitively drawn to one particular frog. To bring that same personal connection to you, we have handcrafted two distinct variations, each rooted in the rich symbolism of the ancient legend.
The choice is yours. Select the path to prosperity that resonates most deeply with your own story and aspirations.
We believe this frog carries a special, positive energy. The greatest joy has been hearing from our customers who feel it too. We’ve been overjoyed to receive stories from happy owners who, after bringing a frog home, shared tales of unexpected good fortune, including striking the lottery!
While we can’t promise a win, we believe it’s a powerful reminder to stay open to positivity. This little frog is our way of sharing that hope with you.
A Lifetime of Artistry, Carved by Hand
Your Lucky Frog is not mass-produced. It is individually hand-carved by Kelvin from solid, reclaimed teak wood. This means no two frogs are exactly alike. Each piece has its own unique grain, subtle variations in shape, and a distinct personality.
